“Are you the one who built these houses? Is this your house?” Njoki is heard questioning the politician, who is dressed in a green T-shirt.

In a Facebook post, Irungu Nyakera’s sister accused the Farmers party leader of intimidating her and attempting to evict her from a house which she claimed he had no rights over.

“Today is a sad day for women of this country. I have been suffering in silence and out there I put on a brave face. I have been thrown out of my house with my child,

“To culminate it all, in broad daylight, my brother brought his bodyguard to my premise and together they beat me up. I am not okay, I might end my own life, this is too much,” she explained.

Njoki further faulted her brother for stealing from other siblings, saying she decided to build her house away from the drama witnessed at their home.

It was widely reported that Wambui’s tribulations with the former PS started due to her political stand ahead of the August 9, General Election.

It is believed that Irungu has been pushing his sister to support Deputy President William Ruto’s Kenya kwanza Alliance, claims that Kivumbi.co.ke is yet to ascertain.

Nyakera will be facing off with Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru, Kirinyaga Woman Rep Wangui Ngirici among others.

Njoki on the other hand is seeking the Member of County Assembly seat in Murang’a County.
