Outspoken Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has sensationally claimed that President Uhuru doesn't want to retire after the end of his two terms.

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has sensationally claimed that Kenyans don’t need the service of President Uhuru Kenyatta and the ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking on Friday, March 11, during the Mount Kenya unity forum, the Chama Cha Kazi party leader called on President Uhuru to retire in peacefully come August 9 elections.

“Your 10 years are over, we respect you even we have voted for you two times but let me just assure you that Kenyans will just be okay without you,”

“My message to Uhuru, your time to go home with dignity and pride is here. Don’t lose this opportunity, cease it.” Kuria said.

The Chama Cha Kazi leader, further revealed that the ODM leader Raila Odinga had confided to him that by 2017 he will retire from politics and go home.

“2017, Raila was ready to go home but the president asked him not to. He is someone who was ready to go home,” Kuria said.

He also alleged that President Uhuru was ready to retire after his second term, only for Raila to ask him to stay.

The meeting was also attended by the Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua and Jimi Wanjigi of the Safina Party.

Speaking at the forum, the leaders called upon Mt Kenya electorates to elect leaders who will fight for their rights and foster unity and development.

Already the Gatundu legislature has expressed his willingness to join the Kenya Kwanza alliance led by Deputy President William Ruto.
