As the UDA presidential flag bearer William Ruto and his main opponent Raila Odinga intensify their presidential campaigns, their wives, Rachel Ruto and Ida Odinga have also been hitting the headlines in terms of how they package themselves with their dressing code.
While there are four presidential candidates, it is almost clear that either William Ruto or the ODM leader Raila Odinga will succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta at the end of his term.
As such, both their wives are technically the next First Ladies in waiting. It is for this reason the two have been trending online for their elegant and classy dressing.
Just like their husbands, the two ladies seem to have invested heavily in their dressing; sharp and elegant outfits especially now that dressing has quickly formed part of the talking point in campaigns.
Previously Mama Rachel used to dress in conservative dresses and/or skirts, but recently she has been stepping out in fabulous outfits.
The conservative way of dressing could be informed by the fact Mama Rachel is a devoted Christian, who recently prayed until dirty water turned pure.
Most of her African attire for sure blends well with the mother of seven’s gorgeous frame, sometimes leaving many of her followers amazed.
On the other hand, Raila Odinga’s wife, Ida, has of late been rocking in colorful African print outfits that make her look young and even bubblier for her age.
Unlike Rachel, Ida is hardly seen in trousers, her wardrobe is full of African attire and graceful dresses that are perfect for her age.
Kenyans on social media have celebrated both ladies for having a good sense of style that befits the stand of the First Lady’s role.
