Raila, who was vying on an Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party emerged second with 6,942,930 votes behind William Ruto who polled 7,176,141 votes to emerge the winner.

In a statement on Wednesday, August 17, Kericho senator-elect said he spent five days at the Bomas of Kenya where the presidential voter tallying was done.

Cheruiyot, a close ally of president-elect William Ruto said he noticed that Azimio’s agents were not only lazy but also unqualified.

He said while the Kenya Kwanza Alliance agents comped through Forms 34As, Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party was busy working on how they can get a laptop belonging to William Ruto’s Chief of Staff Davis Chirchir.

“Rao (Raila Odinga) has the unfortunate state of working with the laziest and disorganized people. I was at the tallying center for five days,

“As the United Democratic Alliance team combed through the Forms 34A’s, ODM brought goons (not agents) and their brief was to look for a laptop and Chirchir,” Cheruiyot said in a Tweet.

Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party chief agent Saintabao Ole Kanchory was stopped from accessing the tallying floor.

It was not immediately established whether the police officers identified Kanchory even though he had his tag on.

“I want to announce to Kenyans that the Bomas of Kenya has been turned into a scene of the crime,” Kanchory announced before the microphone was switched off.
